Most of us are making a web presence in some way or another. Some of us are creating amazingly useful, informative, or entertaining blog entries while others are chatting it up on the likes of Twitter. Regardless of where you speak, you should always remember to consider how you speak. That’s what Sarah M. Carr did to get our attention. She made her online presence known with a fun-loving attitude.

@sarahmcarr
As I stated before, when Darren and I created the concept for Jenn2.0 and wrote the first version of the script, we were trying to portray the real social dynamics of the San Diego tech community as closely as possible. So when we wrote in Larissa, the female foil to our main character Jenn - the nemesis character - we knew she needed to be spunky… have attitude.
I was already following a number of movers and shakers on Twitter and Darren soon joined in. So, it wasn’t long after that when saw the text of a couple of tweets that simply screamed to us “Larissa would say that!” They perfectly defined the attitude we were going for and set the stage for an introduction to our, well… bad girl. And we have Sarah to thank for that. We took a little sampling of Sarah’s refreshing approach to web lingo and we sprinkled it onto our character… the results of which you’ll see in the the pilot episode.
Now I’m not going to go so far as to give the specific line in the script or point out exactly what Sarah tweeted that got our attention. You’ll just have to try and figure that one out for yourself. But, I will tell you that if you want to have a good laugh, experience the SD tech scene, and maybe learn a little something about MindTouch, then you’ll follow @sarahmcarr on Twitter. We do.
Thanks for keepin’ it real with an SD feel, Sarah :P
