Hey everybody!  I’m Chad Hilligus and I play Dave on the show.  As an actor, the hardest part of this process is the waiting.  Waiting in anticipation to see the product of all your hard work (aka ‘the pilot’)…and waiting to see how the production team puts everything together to create a story that you, the viewers, are going to love!  That’s why this site is so great!  It gives you a chance to see what’s going on behind the scenes and what goes into bringing this show to life.  I’m stoked to be a part of it!  I really like playing Dave.  We are similar in a lot of ways…besides both of us being insanely good-looking.

Right now, I’m home in Kansas, visiting family for the holidays and attempting to chillax (props to my friend Lucy for introducing me to this amazing amalgamation of chill and relax which I now try to incorporate into my daily vernacular).  I thought maybe I’d take a minute to tell you some things you won’t find in my bio…

First, you should know that I am a sucker for signing up for all of those ads/scams on Facebook.  I don’t know why I continue to believe that someone is going to give me a free laptop if I purchase a teeth whitening kit.  So here I am with teeth you can see from space and no new computer.  Secondly, I love cheese.  Not just the fancy fromages, but like the down and dirty cheese-in-a-can cheese.  I have been known to eat an entire super-size bag of nacho Doritos in one sitting on numerous occasions.  Hence, the teeth whitening.  This leads me to fact no. 3…I was a fat kid.  Seriously.  In high school I was 5′10″ and weighed 240lbs with no muscle.  Today, I’m happy to announce that I’m still 5′10″.
